We held our first town hall on March 9, 2026 for the eight Democratic congressional candidates running from Utah’s new District 1. Six of the candidates attended, and we had a lively discussion on a multitude of issues of concern to the base of the Democratic Party for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

The town hall was cosponsored by nine other organizations: Black Lives Matter (Utah chapter), Green Wave Utah, Salt Lake Artists Against Genocide, the Salt Lake Community Bail Fund, Healthcare Workers for Palestine, Local CWA 7765, the Church of Protest, Salt Lake Bakers for Palestine, and Utah Jews for Palestine.
