It’s Time to Organize

How To Become a Democratic County Delegate (a/k/a “Precinct Chair”):

Salt Lake County and Utah State

1. Register to vote at this website.

2. Click on this Google Map version of "Map 1" to find out if you are in new congressional District 1.

3. Click on this district/representative look-up tool to find your House District and Precinct number.

4. Find out where your precinct will be caucusing. (Locations TBD.)

5. Attend the Democratic Party caucus night (Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 6:00 p.m.). Nominate yourself for Precinct Chair and explain why you should be selected. There will be a vote, and a Precinct Chair will be elected.

Precint Chairs will attend the Salt Lake County Democratic Nominating Convention on April 11, 2026, the State Democratic Party Nominating Convention on April 25, 2026, and quarterly meetings of the Salt Lake County Democratic Party (which can also be done virtually.)
