We held a town hall on June 9, 2026 for two sets of candidates who will be on the Democratic primary ballot on June 23: (1) Congressional District 1; and (2) Salt Lake County District Attorney. Five candidates attended: Liban Mohamed, Nate Blouin, Michael Farrell, Sim Gill and Shawn Robinson. The discussion was moderated by Rae Duckworth (of Black Lives Matter - Utah chapter), En Canada (of the Wasatch Assembly), and Amani Khader (of the 71 Percent Coalition).

Hernandez (Sen. 5); Dakota Wurth (Sen. 5); Evan Done (Sen. 13); Taylor Paden (Sen. 13); Tayler Khater (Sen.14); Stephen Otterstrom (HD 21); Aaron Wiley (HD 21); and Erin Jemison (HD 34). The discussion was moderated by Amani Khader (of the 71 Percent Coalition) and En Canada (of the Wasatch Assembly).

We held our first town hall on March 9, 2026 for the eight Democratic congressional candidates running from Utah’s new District 1. Six of the candidates attended, and we had a lively discussion on a multitude of issues of concern to the base of the Democratic Party for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
